Toyota sells over a million vehicles in Europe over half the hybrid

With over 650,000 hybrid vehicles sold, representing 52% of total sales, Toyota and Lexus offer a total of 20 hybrid models, representing the widest range of hybrid vehicles in the automotive industry. Counting both marks, a total of seven new models were launched in 2019.
Toyota has sold more than a million vehicles for the first time since 2008, registering a 4.5% increase year-on-year. According to Toyota, The new RAV4 has found excellent expectations in customers, with actually demands exceeding the number of produced copies.

The total sales of Lexus rose 14.5% over the past year to a record 87.206 vehicles, marking the sixth consecutive year of growth, doubling sales compared to 2013.
Continued growth in 2019 has been improved by the launch of the new Lexus UX model, the interrupted premium model of the new Lexus ES and Lexus RX re-diagnosed sedan.
Lexus' sales in Western Europe are now almost exclusively hybrid, with 96% of the mix, while the share of hybrids across the European market is 67%.
