The US Army said Monday it was investigating reports saying the crash had occurred on the territory controlled by the Taliban. The Taliban spokesman Zabinullah Mujahid said in a statement posted online: “An American invasion plane has crashed. Many American officers have been killed. ”
He claims many senior CIA officials were inside the plane. Neither the images, nor those claims so far have been verified, translates Periscope from The Guardian.
Mujahidi added to the media that the crash of this plane “did not impact” on negotiations that were continuing for American withdrawal from Afghanistan. /Periscope
