President Trump's special emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia talks has cancelled a visit to Pristina because of the power that is ruling between VV50 and LDK) for forming the new government. A US Embassy official in Berlin has said the visit has been cancelled because not all in Kosovo have been ready for it to be realised.
Delays in establishing new institutions after the 6 October elections have also led foreign and international embassies to engage in the aim of achieving a coalition between the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo.
Days earlier in Berlin, President Trump's emissary, Richard Green, had hosted LDK deputy chairman Agim Veliun, and the two members of the leadership, Avdullah Hotin and Skender Hysen, with whom he had talked about talks on establishing the new government.
Upon seeing such a situation, Richard Greene had planned a visit to Kosovo, however, has cancelled it, as they say from the Berlin office, not all sides have been ready.
That's what the Express Journal confirmed by Ambassador Green's office in Berlin.
The annulment of this visit by the US ambassador to Berlin occurred as not all parties have been ready but without specifying which parties.
In response to your question, I can tell you that we have canceled our last trip because not all parties were unwilling, unfortunately”, Special Representative spokesman Dick Custin said.
Greenell had been hosting three senior Kosovo Democratic League officials in Berlin, with whom he had also discussed the coalition issue with Vetevendosje.
Kosovo has held early elections on 6 October, meanwhile, the country continues to remain without institutions for more than 3 months.
