Residents revolt against KEDS, block Pec-Pristina highway

Residents of some villages have blocked the flow of cars on the Peja-Pristina highway, in sign of riots against KED for poor electricity supplies.

Through a report by the residents of Cerrovic villages, Cebiq, Gulluovc, Placha, Mlqaan, Kijevo, Lazice and Bubavec, have indicated they will block this road due to an abundant lack of electricity supply from KED.

They say electricity is as weak as light from a candle.

We will hold protests on the Pec-Pristina Highway to block this road, as a revolt against KEDS, that electricity in these villages is like candle”, the announcement said.

Meanwhile, the announcement reportedly would extend the protest to the fulfillment of the requirements, even warning that the protests would extend even to the central level.
