Recent studies have shown that the best place to raise children is not the US, but Denmark.
The report, which ranks the best countries, assessed 73 nations and this ranking is made each year by researchers at the Wharton School of Pennsylvania University.
In this ranking, Albania and Kosovo are not included. Denmark has been recognised as the best country to create a family thanks to very generous policies for newly born women and fatherhood permits, health systems and free public education in these countries.
Sweden ranks second place, while Norway ranks third. Canada and the Netherlands are in the top five, followed by Finland, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia and Austria. Albania's two neighbouring countries, Italy and Greece, rank 16th and 21.
Two Balkan countries -- Croatia in 24th and Serbia -- are also ranked in the list of 73 states.
The survey was conducted by asking more than 20,000 people in the US, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Participants were equally divided into different groups so that they could have accurate representation of each nation.
