He was actually an Iranian Mois Secret Service officer, and he was hiding behind diplomatic status. The Iranian diplomat had been in Albania for several years and had established strong ties.
Under the theatre of culture it was also appointed director of the Sadi Chiraz Cultural Foundation, a foundation operating in Albania since 1996 and which, according to the statute, aims at spreading Iranian culture to Albania and Albanian in Iran.
This foundation also publishes a magazine where the Iranian Secret Service again was the director. In addition to publications through this foundation, media on line are thought to be funded in Albania, which follow an Idological line near Iran's Ajatolah regime and often hitting Albania's decision to welcome members of the Iranian opposition, Mac.
