The Republic of Kosovo signed agreements on commercial flights with Serbia yesterday. The deal was conveyed with a disturbing lack of basic information. The opinion was deprived of the opportunity to understand the content of the deal. What have the Kosovo Civil Aviation authorities signed yesterday? No details are known. All we were told is the opening of the Pristina-Belgrade airline”, the PSD statement said. On behalf of Kosovo, the agreement was signed by the director of the Civil Aviation Authority, while Serbia was represented by the Ministry of Economy secretary. Meanwhile, the company that will take over the line is “Lufthansa”
The PSD seeks to clarify the political implications of different representations of parties that are not counterparts, given that Kosovo in signing this agreement was represented by the Civil Aviation Authority, while Serbia by the Ministry of Economy, and also to know the legal basis of the agreement.
Moreover The PSD considers that the agreement of this nature should not be signed in secrecy, so it urgently requires that the signed agreement be published as soon as possible by relevant authorities and that all related details be clarified.
