Prince Harry has broken the silence for the first time by speaking in public since the Royal Bouckingham Palace made the decision that the prince and his wife, Meghan have decided to resign from royal titles and not represent the queen as members of the royal family.
At a charity event, Harry said Great Britain is the home and country he loves most and will never change.
Harry said it wasn't an easy decision, but they talked over after many challenges and that their hope has been to serve the queen and community of military associations, but that unfortunately this was not possible, writes CNN.
Months ago, the couple announced that they would withdraw from their roles as members of the Royal Family, and their time would be shared between the United Kingdom and North America, where they will also work to become financially independent, Kosovo Press broadcasts.
Under the deal warned Saturday, Harry and Meghan will also pay 2.4m pounds (about $3m) of British taxpayers used to renew their home, the Frogmore Cottage, on Windsor property.
Harry said it was a favor to serve the State and Queen and that since he lost his mother, the kingdom has taken care of him, first Princess Diana, who died after a car accident in 1997 while being pursued by paparazzi.
Harry concluded by saying that he will be grateful for the support the royal family has given him and his wife, Meghan all the time
