Iranian leaders pledged Wednesday that they would end the US presence in the region, describing missile attacks on American targets in Iraq as “defence”.
“We hit them (Americans) in the face last night” with a missile attack “but military action is not enough,” Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said in a speech to the nation.
He spoke hours after the attack on military bases in Iraq used by American forces.
Meanwhile Iranian President Hassan Rouhan said Washington may have “cut off Solemann's “arm”, but they will wait for America's “in response.
“We will wait for the feet of the United States. If the United States has “cut off our”, General Qassem Soleiani, Iran will respond by cutting down their “ ” ”- he said.
