Earlier, local authorities in Afghanistan have told Radio Free Europe that a passenger plane has crashed in Ghazni province, with about 83 people on board.
Ghazni province Governor Wahidullah Kalimzai said the plane belonged to the national air company Ariana Airlines.
However, the state company denied that its plane has crashed.
