They during a meeting discussed the current political and security situation in Kosovo.
The two sides agreed on the need to form the Kosovo government in the shortest time possible so that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina can continue as soon as possible and the need for further institutional co-operation, in order to strengthen pluralism in the Serb community and the influence of Serbs on Kosovo institutions, a communique for SLS media says.
Petrovic announced the British diplomat with the current problems facing the Serb community and the pressures facing members of the Independent Liberal Party after the election process ends.
At the end of the meeting, Petrovic expressed his gratitude to Abbott for his meeting and expectation that good co-operation between the Independent Liberal Party and representatives of the Great Britain Government in Kosovo will continue in the coming period.
