Montenegro's embassy in Belgrade has fallen prey to an attack by Serbian hooligans.
The event took place last night, where the pyrotechnic vehicles were thrown toward the embassy headquarters.
Part of Montenegro's flag has been damaged by the flames, while the staff has made immediate change.
“Montenegro is once again facing the challenge of protecting independence and freedom”, Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic said, warning he will protect his country from domestic and foreign actors seeking instability.
The situation in Montenegro is tensely following Parliament's decision to pass a law on religious communities. According to the Serb community in Montenegro and officials in Belgrade, by this law Podgorica aims to adopt the properties of the Orthodox Church.
