Researchers from the American Cancer Society have found that two and a half hours of weekly exercise can reduce the risk of seven forms of cancer, including breast, intestine, and kidney.
Scientists analyze the data of 750 thousand people for this study, measuring their physical activity.
Then, the research team followed them to see if they developed any form of disease.
The results had shown that the risk of 7 of 15 types of cancer they had studied had been drastically reduced when people had exercised at least 2 and a half hours a week.
Those who have exercised more than 25 minutes a day have had an even greater risk of developing cancer.
It is noteworthy that this study is published in “Journal of Clinical Oncology”.
