Vetevendosje Chairman Albin Kurti, prior to meeting with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, has published a new video blaming the LDK for failing to reach the agreement.
Kurti's complete speech:
Today, there were three months of last October 6th elections, where citizens voted for both mass change in the country and made Vetevendosje Movement the first and the winner.
On December 26, 2019, at the Constituent session of the 7th legislature, we were forced to go without agreement with the LDK.
Today on January 6, 2020, at a consultative meeting with the president of the Republic, I am again obliged without agreement with the LDK, despite my continued efforts, I was not able to meet with the LDK recently before this meeting with the president of the state.
None of us have thought that 2020 would hold us without government.
As the next prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, as your political representative, who has mostly received votes on two sides of the recent parliamentary elections, stressed that we do not have time to lose”, he says.
The time that is leaving without return is not a private time of the individual politicians, but a time of state and public, of all and all.
I call on the leadership that the LDK will send five of its ministers and the first deputy prime minister from its ranks as soon as possible.
From the Vetevendosje Movement, I as prime minister of the new government have chosen: for the second deputy prime minister of government: Hakki Abazi, for justice minister Albulen Haxhiu, for minister of foreign affairs and diaspora: Blerim Reka, for finance minister Besnik Bislimi, for minister of trade and industry, Rosette Hajdari and health and sports minister: Arben Vitia.
Let's start working for the good of citizens and according to the already agreed government programme.
