Kosovo government allocates 50,000 euros for Bujanoc municipality

The government cabinet has also approved the decision to allocate vehicles worth 150,000 euros for the family of the killed police officer and out of 10,000 euros for wounded officers.

With the Foreign Affairs Ministry proposal, the Global Act for Human Rights has been approved, which sanctions all human rights violators around the world. This decision by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo made Kosovo the first state in Southeast Europe to have adopted this act, and brings it into partnerships with the United States of America and with international allies in the struggle to protect democracy and human rights and freedoms.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo has approved the decision on sharing financial means as an addition to the family pension for police officials fallen in charge of office under the Police Law. The amount of 300 (three per cent) euros will be earmarked as additional monthly retirement, for family members of the incumbent officials, as set out in Administrative Guide to determine cases of police officials who die in office or in office. The decision obliges the Kosovo Police to co-operate with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Finance to implement it.

The government has also approved the decision on continuing the mandate for a three-year period for Secretary General of the Ministry of Management of Local Power Rosafa Ukimeraj.

Today's meeting has been completed on the Public Company Board “The Bank for Deposit Management”, following a member's resignation on this board.

Having decided on the request of the Association of former Kosovo political prisoners, the government has earmarked 36,600 euros. Separate tools will be used for the Society's basic expenses and for preparing the first volume of “Lexikon of Kosovo Albanian political convicts in Yugoslavia 1945-1999”.

The government cabinet has also considered the request from the Bujanoc municipality that the Kosovo Government financially support the realisation of the “Professional Training for Young People in this municipality. The government has allocated tools worth 50,000 euros in support of the Bujanoc municipality for realising this project that will create space and conditions for youth employment and prevent their migration.

The government cabinet's approval at today's meeting has also received Entrance for De Minimis, meaning small-value bailouts that are not considered state aid and are not subject to authorisation of the State Assistance Commission.

Even the regulation for agency performance has been approved at today's meeting. With this regulation, detailed rules and procedures are determined to monitor executive agencies and assess their performance. The regulation will be applicable by all executive and regulatory agencies, as well as state institutions overseeing the performance of executive agencies.

The Government Cabinet has also adopted the decision to establish the Co-ordination Group for Promotive Activity, with particular emphasis on the interior and the state slogan. The processing group will deal with the possibilities of initiating ID-identification procedures for the local and international public as preconditions to highlight competitive advantages and that distinguish one state from other states. The working group will co-ordinate the inter-institutional work of representation both inside and abroad for that purpose.

The initiative for connecting the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Latvia has also been approved in principle for international transportation of travelers and goods.

He has received approval at today's meeting, and the concept of the State Protocol. The document's concept recommends the separation of diplomatic protocol from the state protocol. Diplomatic protocol must continue to remain the facility within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the State Protocol is organised within the prime minister's office.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo has also approved the decision for ex-x0> Constitutional Court in Pristina for the need to accommodate the state institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

With the adoption of three separate decisions, the Government of Kosovo has approved the Finance Ministry's initiatives for negotiating international agreements with the German Development Bank ( KfW) for financing the project “Fondy of Kosovo's challenges ʹ professional education and training”; negotiating the agreement with the European Union for Kosovo's participation in the EU Programme “Customs 2020” and negotiating the agreement with the European Union for Kosovo participation in the EU Programme “Fiscalis 2020<5>.

Under the proposal of Minister of Management of Local Power, the preliminary decision to initiate procedures for public interest in social property in the Gjakova municipality has been approved and affected by the realisation of public interest projects.
