KFOR and EULEX pursuing Kosovo Police in emergency situations

The staff of the Tactical Battalion KFOR Reserve and the Multinational Specialised Unit have been working together with EULEX to maintain high response standards and support for Kosovo police.
The aim of the exercise has been to test the level of readiness to manage emergency situations and command and communication procedures.
The Joint Company consisted of theoretical and practical tests and real simulations of crowd control and unrest at the base of Italian KFOR Carabinieri in Pristina, with more than 100 participants involved.
The NATO-led mission, KFOR, is to ensure a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all citizens in Kosovo, under the mandate of UN Security Council Resolution 1244. KFOR is willing to take necessary measures to keep Kosovo safe, in close co-operation with Kosovo police and EULEX, for the good of all Kosovo communities.
