Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselini has said tonight that he has asked new Finance Minister Lulzim Rafuna, who comes from the PDK ranks, to double the budget for security equipment for the Kosovo Army and Police.
“I have asked the new finance minister to double the budget for the security and sovereignty of the state of Kosovo. So it's going to double the budget for the security section in the police and Army”, Vessel said.
He made those statements on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Democratic Youth, where he also spoke of blockades that he said are the ones who have proved poor in the elections.
The citizens should not curse them, but they must work. The democratic position-opposital cycle has always been but these are destroying with this form of mentality the state of Kosovo is strengthening Serbia. That is a curse and they will be questioned about it. But we, the Democratic Party, will not stop and we will always be in defense of the state and the citizens of Kosovo”, Veselin said.
