Acting Deputy Finance Minister Fatmir Gashi says in an interview for KosovoPress, that even though the budget for 2020 has not been approved, these means which were separated days ago for the Global Coalition I The SIS, worth 250 thousand euros, has been separated from the reserve fund, which currently stands at 1m and 200 thousand euros from1/12 of the budget law for 2019.
Gashi says the entire reserves worth 6m and 100,000 euros were spent for the next year.
“in that fund has remained means like all the other funds, its1/12 is also in the first two months. 1/12 of the fund, which has been 6 million and 100 thousand which is down to about 600 thousand euros, is for the first month of this year to use, they can be exploited, but it doesn't mean they have to be exploited for anything, but it can be used for cases where they need to be used”, Gashi claims.
For the way and the amount of money spent on reserves, Gashi says it is the continuation of pre-minor governments.
However, there are even less than a month until the celebration of Kosovo's 12th anniversary of independence, Gashi says financial means will be secured from reserves, but that does not indicate how much it is. We remember that for the previous year, the government had earmarked 600 thousand euros for the celebration of Independence.

Speaking of the much talked about project of the Dukagjin Highway, Deputy Prime Minister Gashi says that in drafting the 2020 budget from the Ministry of Finance, this project is for design and feasibility, but not for construction as well.
I just know the Dukagjin Highway project with this project, it's only meant for design, feasibility, not construction highway. Without the feasibility phase completed, the socioeconomic impact of that highway, and without all these criteria being met, no one can yet talk about the division of budgetary means for highway”, Gashi says.
