The 460 electric engines are powered by a battery that lives for a full hour. The company that built it decided to add an electric engine so that people could use it longer distances, such as a yacht to shore.
The Zealand company was founded in 2011 and the first prototype presented at 2017. Nearly 30 of these have been sold to the project's first supporters. Currently, the bicycle is sold for $3395 and introduced in CES in Las Vegas.
