Kosovo police, Sami Thaci, died last night during an anti-drug action at a house in Zhur, Prizren, after facing a bomb planted by the owner. And one of the two dead policemen is suspected of being blinded by the explosion.
As Klan Kosova finds out, the suspect's wife had initially reported police violence in the family, and police have deported. The woman has then told the police that her violent husband carries weapons and drugs, causing police to seek help from the Special Anti-drog Unit team, part of which was the murdered police officer.
During the narcotics raid, the late policeman has already encountered a bomb placed in a house room as a kind of warehouse, Klan Kosova reports.
This blast left the suspect's 12-year-old child and two other policemen being treated at KKUK. Unfortunately, one of the police officers is suspected of being blinded by the severe injuries he received in his face.
