Clopps with praise for Shaqiri's physical: I've never seen him.

Gerdan Shaqiri, also known for his short body, but with many muscles he played a peripheral role in Liverpool's team this season, as his injuries and the good form of other Liverpool attackers have limited his minutes.

Former Stoke City star, transferred to Liverpool during the summer of 2018, has scored a total goal of nine of his performances in all the races this season, while by the year 2018/19 he had played a more important role in the Kloppi team.

Finally, Shaqiri has suffered another muscle injury, and Cloppi has indicated that, in all likelihood, he will be absent in Sunday's match against Shrewsbury Town, which plays at England's third football level, under the FA Cup.

Cloppi has said he understands that Shaqiri may be frustrated by his recent injury, which is not a serious injury, but he says he won't risk football until he finds a solution so he doesn't face this injury anymore.

So far, injuries have been huge, but they've been enough to keep him out of fights. I can imagine it was very frustrating for him, but it wasn't good for us either.

We're working on this thing. We do not want to bring in a situation where these things happen constantly, but so far we have not found the right solution 100 percent. So we have to wait to see”.

Liverpool's coach then went on to say a few words of encouragement to Shaqiri at a season that has been difficult for him, jokingly suggesting that perhaps his impressive body is responsible for injuries.

“It's not okay, it's in no way right, but there's probably different reasons for his injuries”, Kloppi added.

“He is a very special player in several different respects. His body is different from anyone else I've seen, his muscles are incredible”

During the last few days it was reported that Rome and Seville were interested in transferring the 28-year-old this month, but Liverpool has made it clear that he will not allow his departure at least before the end of this season.
