The most wanted were the Volkswagen models, so 667,518 cars were sold last year, according to data collected from Phcus2move. com.
Second place is Mercedes with 339,185 vehicles delivered, while the third is Ford with 279,719 vehicles.
BMW nearly lost position number three, delivering 279,243 vehicles in 2019, while Audi is in fifth position with 267,195 cars sold.
Among the top ten are Opel, Skoda, Seat, Renault and Hyundai. The best sold Japanese mark for 2019 was Toyota, in 12th place (84,498 sold units), and surprisingly, it was just behind it, at the 13th place of Dacia (80,035).
Collected by the group of cars, the Volkswagen Group is unmatched, with 1,314.397 sold vehicles or 36.54% of the market, so it is not surprising that every fifth car sold in Germany for 2019 was brand Volkswagen.
