BMW will complete the production of “sporter” its hybrid i8 after three months.
According to Autocar magazine, BMW will commit “to”8 after six years of production, without any information yet for a possible successor.
British media speculate that the bavarez will launch a new sports hybrid in the next five years.
It was predicted to be based on the Vision M Next concept from last year, but was denied by Development Director Klaus Frolic.
He told Australian media that BMW would not make direct offspring for the first hybrid models i3 and i8.
The hybrid sports model Frolic of the future sees the performance vehicle as an M car.
