Some 134 million Chinese traveled abroad in 2019, 4.5% more than last year, according to official figures.
Before the outbreak of the virus, the Chinese Tourism Institute predicted that only for the Chinese New Year's Eve would travel abroad of 7 million Chinese people, while last year Chinese tourists were 6.3 million.
