Lawyer Azem Vlasi, who was the target of the assassination by the leader of the organisation “People's Office”, Murat Jashari, said the court today with the decision he has made to convict the seven indictees of this organisation to 41 years in prison, including Jashar, has prevented dangerous plots for Kosovo. He's in an exclusive interview in [...]
He in an exclusive interview in Info Magazine said that the case of attempted murder against him shows that such acts are being taken around Kosovo for destabilising the country, Kosovo reports.
This decision has prevented a dangerous plot, an attempt for a very dangerous enterprise for Kosovo and Albanians. This is a case showing that different risks are brought around Kosovo, for such efforts, for various plots only for destabilising the country”.
For the charges brought against Albin Kurti and Glauk Konjufca of Vetevendosje that they are identities of the organisation “The people's office”, Vlasi said this party should eventually distance itself from these people and organisations.
“Among the accused were some who were called to Vetevendosje or supporters of this party. I would not go into deeper assessments, but I believe that Vetevendosje would do well to distance itself from these people and such organization because it's good for our political situation or claims that this organization where many people seem to figure out or sympathise with Vetevendosje and that doesn't benefit the party”.
Vlase said that his entire family had experienced a serious experience in the assassination that ended without success.
I'm on a visit to the U.S. to family, but what happened to me has been very serious because I've done nothing to these accused in words or deeds. We are happy if there is less criminality in Kosovo”.
