Fehmi Hoshaff was born on September 28, 1934, in Tirana. He started working in cinematography as assistant director veteran Hysen Hakani and Christaq Dhamo, in their films Our Earth, 1964; First years, 1965; Oceanside, 1967; Tracks, 1970.
In 1968, he made his own show “Estrada on screen”, which was taken by Kinostudio in the form of an artistic film. Because of the success of this film, it was later entrusted to him, in 1972, the director for the lovely Kinocomedia “Capedan”, which he performed with director Muharrem Feezo. This film marks the birth of kinokomedia in Albanian cinematography, which was later followed by the same loving kinokomede by director Hoshafi: Dream of a chair, 1984 and Deputy Women, 1987.
