Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has again reacted to plans by several companies to develop construction of Badovci Lake.
Ahmeti Facebook has pledged that drinking water in Pristina will not be endangered.
The capital's first has reaffirmed that this project has no construction permits, nor has it applied for one in Pristina's municipality Urbanism.
He has clarified that Lake Badovci is state-owned, while explaining the performance of company construction permit from 2013 to today.

Forest water 24h in Pristina does not cause danger, will not be endangered
Badovci Lake is state-owned property owned by the Republic of Kosovo, as well as any other water resources. Decisions for the protection of Lake/water and other safeguard clauses take the central level because they also have responsibilities and capacities to make such assessments. The Pristina municipality is responsible for construction permits according to the planning documents it has in place, whose main documents were approved by Pristina's Municipal Assembly in 2013.
The company in question has no building permits and has not yet applied for construction permits. The company in question has applied for construction conditions which precede the application for permission. It's been in this procedure for years. In the construction terms, it is said that before applying for permission in Pristina's municipality, it should apply for consent to environmental evaluation in the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, which it has not yet done.
In 2015, the Pristina municipality has proposed increasing Germia's territory from 900 hectares to 2,000 hectares, and has received the status of protected vision under the Laws in effect. Part of the painting is about Badovci. In 2016, in cooperation with the Czech government, we were able to start treating sewage around the lake. Such waters no longer empty into Badovci Lake.
Pristina has been drinking water 24 hours a day since 2017, which in no way does or will not be endangered.
