Jamsid Rasol, spokesman for the General Prosecutor's Office, said the investigative committee had already been appointed. “We are in the process of developing a comprehensive and comprehensive investigation,” he said.
No date has yet been set for the findings this committee will make, but closing schools for the winter months can cause postponement, writes The Guardian, translates Periscope.
This movement follows the discovery made by a civil society organisation showing more than 100 videos on YouTube showing child abuse in six schools by their teachers, class administrators and others in authority. Since then, this page has already been deleted.
The Guardian's report on abuse has opened a national debate on child abuse involving members of parliament and civil society. Afghanistan's Education Minister promised an urgent investigation into the case.
Activists Mohammed Mussa Mahmod and Ehsanullah Hamid, who had exposed the abuse, have fled Afghanistan with their families due to security concerns.
Both had received threats for months before publishing the data.
