Addressing serial actor “Cassandra”, has a message for its fans in Kosovo

Renowned actress from Venezuela, Coraima Torres of the series “Cassandra”, was well known in Kosovo in the 1990s.

Coraima Torres: I just arrived from Mexico where we completed the serial “El Señor de los Cieos”, for which I was very pleased because the experience was wonderful. Then it is expected that this year I will also have performances at the theatre.

Portal.info: Who make up your family?

Coraima Torres: We live in our home with four family members, we live with the Manú son, with the man Nicole, Diane, who is the manager of the house, and then we have two cats living with us at home.

Portal.info: Did you know that soap opera “Cassandra” was very popular in Kosovo and that you were very dear to Kosovars regardless of age and gender?

Coraima Torres: Yes! And it's something that's filled me with a lot of excitement.

Portal.info: Is it true that at that time you have visited many Balkan capitals?

Coraima Torres: Yes, we went to visit after we finished broadcasting the series “Cassandra” and it was really wonderful for me to feel people's love, it was an experience that I deeply appreciate. I always keep them in my heart in a very special way.

Portal.info: It's often been talked about that you have family connections with the character “Randu” on the series “Cassandra”, is there anything real here?

Coraima Torres: No, we're not familiar with Henry Soto (Randu), we're just accomplices and sometimes contact social networks. When I was in Miami, I met actor Carlos Arreza, known as (Tomas) the series “Cassandra”.

Coraima Torres: For fans from Kosovo, I say they have a special place in my heart and when I receive messages from them I get very excited. I think one day they'll visit...

She began her acting career in Venezuela in the late 1980s.
Its first role was in the “Gardenia” and “Alondra”. After that she took the lead in the famous “Cassandra” soap opera, which appeared in more than 100 countries.

“Cassandra” lasted 150 episodes between October 1992 and May 1993 and achieved remarkable success in Venezuela. The series was extremely successful in its later broadcasts, especially in the United States, Romania, Italy, Russia, former East Block nations, and the Balkans.
