2020 should be the year you devote to your mental health. It should be the year when you work to get rid of the things you weigh, overcome your deepest uncertainties, and learn to love yourself unconditionally. It must be the year when you learn to appreciate yourself instead of tearing it apart into four hundred pieces. It should be the year when you look at yourself and think about how big you are, how proud you are.
2020 should be the year you learn to say no. It should be the year you take care not to take on more than you can do. It has to be the year you leave toxic situations, get away from toxic people and start doing what's best for you to make a difference.
2020 should be the year you stop accepting poor treatment. It should be the year that you stop bowing down to please people who don't even care about you. It should be the year when you have to say enough and stop talking to people who benefit from you, who don't respect you, who keep you close simply because they know you're kind enough to come out on them.
2020 should be the year you start defending yourself. It should be the year when you need to raise your voice. It must be the year in which you must learn to gain security, independence, and a stronger sense of self. It must be the year in which you understand how much you have to offer for this world and how little credit you get to this point. It must be the year that you avoid self - doubt and start believing in yourself.
2020 should be the year you recreate your list of priorities. It should be the year when you have to start treating others like they're above you, like they deserve the whole world and you don't deserve anything. It should be the year when you ask yourself what you want from this world and how you'll get it. It should be the year you focus on yourself.
2020 should be the year you explore your own selfish side. It must be the year to pet, to treat yourself, for yourself. It must be the year you spent time to relax. Must be the year you give yourself a vacation. Must be the year you finally let yourself say you deserve it. Must be the kind of year you should've given yourself a long time ago.
In 2020, you need to be nice to others anyway. You still have to practice gratitude. You must help your loved ones when they need you most. But you must take some of that courtesy and direct it from yourself. You must make sure that your name is not down on the list of priorities. You have to put it on the top. /meb.al/
