While for the first time as remembered, there were no trafficking victims under the age of 16 over last year in Norway. However, the figures say that more people drowned in traffic in the rest of the country compared to 2018 (110 -108).
The local newspaper Aftenposten reports that in 2017, three people died on the streets of Oslo. Figures by the Norwegian Public Road Administration showed that in the last 50 years, the number of mortality in the city's roads has declined drastically.
Norway registered the lowest number of traffic deaths in Europe in 2017, reporting only 20 incidents per million people.
But that is not so in other large cities of the world. 126 people died on the streets of London in 2019. In addition, the United Kingdom is considered one of the safest countries in the European Union for traffic accidents, with about 30 deaths per million people.
The most dangerous countries in the EU for road safety are Bulgaria and Romania, which average over 90 deaths per million. /PERISCOP/
