It is a method-analysis, which includes 617 studies conducted between 1973 and 2013 with the involvement of over 1.2 million participants, which also shows women are better in remembering faces and aromas.

“The results show there is a small advantage of the woman in the episode memory”, explains Martin Asperholm, author of the study.

”Graths do better when verbal processes can be used to remember, while men do better than their partners information based on greater spatial processing. Generally, women remember the words, sentences, texts, but also the position of objects or films”, points out Agneta Herlitz, who conducted the study.
