There are 16 women and three men, new cases which have been presented for the first time to seek justice in the organisation “Justice for all”. While working very slowly to verify their status, and to condemn the leaders of the work, the victims ' family are known by name and surname and [...]
In an interview 45/45 for KosovaPress, the director of the organisation “Justice for the entire”, Nafi Krasniqi speaks of the case of the violation of his sister by Serbs, until he explains how the Brave Ambassador came, Vasfije Krasniqi, spoke publicly of the terror experienced.
Vasfije's brother, Nafiu, 20 years ago was present when under threat of weapons, his sister was taken from her home by a man in Serbia's Police uniform, where she was also subjected to torture and sexual rape.
He insists that such crimes should no longer be concealed because their witnesses are family, marriage mates, parents, and children.
Krasniqi relates that the fight for his sister's justice had begun the same year that Vasfia was unjustly violated.
Nafiu as Buches's youngest brother tells of Kosova Prees, that they already know the perpetrators, but the same continue to be free.
As the Krasniqi family has been working to achieve justice since 99, the same have been disappointed by justice bodies, both from EULEX and UNMIK.
Just then, Krasniqi shows that they have focused on finding other forms to approach the problem.
Vasfije Krasniqi-Goodman found the strength to publicly confess the horror experienced 20 years ago, to seek justice not only for himself, but for all victims in Kosovo.
Her brother says her public appearance has achieved social justice, yet not that law. For him, in April of this year, Nafi Krasniqi, with his sister's initiative, has opened the organisation “Justice for all of”, which has to do with legal support of the victims. Krasniqi shows how many cases have been submitted so far.
While victims have consistently had dissatisfaction with the treatment they have received, Krasniqi says the issue of war crimes in general should be addressed in talks with Serbia.
He considers that victims of violence have the fundamental right to apply to the Commission for Verification of the Status of Victims of Sex Violence for recognition of their pain.
He exhorts all family members not to stigmatize themselves in the first place and then even the family member, who has innocently experienced sexual violence.
According to him, without family support it cannot go away for judicial justice.
