Stop! Deep breaths. And now think about managing your time. As far as I'm concerned, there's no room for him up there.

There are reportedly two paradigms on the subject “Time Management”: manager and... Timemaker or worker.

The manager's day is divided at intervals of 30 minutes. Every half an hour, they change the tasks they do then. In this way or so as it happens in the tetris game: different blocks are moved up and down and empty space is filled with them.

Workman's day is different. They make, they create, they build. But first, they think. More effectively, they use their time in blocks at half a day or all day's pace.

Even a 30-minute meeting in the middle of “the employee/worker” is disturbing. We must all be timemakers, builders, workers.

OK, a genius idea. I'm doing this ... then... I'm late for the meeting.

No, that's not how it works. You must be well informed if you want to apply a successful strategy. And initially, self-regulation strategy must be determined, the so-called “intension integration”.

It should be precisely determined when and where the designer's specific designs will be made available. For this effect, there is another study:

The control group enrolled for sports once a week. 29 percent of participants stuck to this commitment.

The first experimental group was commissioned to do the same, along with accurate information, why sports do good for health (e.g. “The man dies if he doesn't play a sport”). 39 percent maintained their instruction.

The second experimental group was commissioned at a certain time to exercise a choice sport. 91 percent followed that direction.

Find a place in your task calendar, a well - defined place for doing, working, and promptly mark the location and time, and in the most ideal case, the task that you will be tasked with at this time. Then that is exactly what will happen.

I could do this like this, for example... Friday, I would put it in the end, just like that... If all my meetings have already been consumed, are they exceeded?

No. Many of our meetings and meetings could be shorter. Fewer employees could attend. And some meetings and meetings are even completely too much. Use this time better as a time of work. But don't put these hours at the end of your priorities at all, very close to holidays or Fridays.

It's really a matter of time. Your level of energy moves waves over the week. Stick to this example, so:

Monday: After the weekend, energy must first be put on track and taken on track, some simple tasks, such as organization, planning, and setting goals, must be closed.

Tuesday, Wednesday: Energy reaches its extreme peak and must now face difficult tasks. Determine your working time well, and make a “Brainstoring” and relevant notes better.

Thursday: Energy is reduced. Define meetings, especially when a common consensus should be found.

Friday: Energy is at the lowest level. And now it's time to do your homework, without deadlines, give yourself long-term planning and build ties.

Worktime must always be set in the morning before the afternoon arrives in its depth, accompanied by fatigue over decision - making. Save late afternoon for mechanical tasks.

My new task for you: set your work time well and protect him. And before you're too quick to fix a meeting or a meeting, think about it, if that might be a little bit of an employee's working time.

In my case, working time is well defined in the agenda. Try not to get caught with something else this time, and I will do the same for you.
