The investigation into the head of state if it violated the Constitution with the annulment of the June 30th elections will last until October 8th, 2019. Sources for Report Tv suggest Meta has been called to testify on September 6th, while remaining to see what the head of state's response is.
The investigative plan is divided into nine points, where the first phase is precisely hearing with President Ilir Meta until the creation of a final report, which will be presented at the end of the Parliament. During his speech, the head of this commission, Ulyssy Manja, stated that these steps could even change along the way, depending on the work this commission will do. Commission Deputy Chairman Alban Zenel called for delaying the progress of the works of this Commission until the establishment of the Constitutional Court, but MP Vasilika Hysi stressed that such a thing is not necessary, as establishing a Commission is the exclusiveness of the Parliament.
