US Senators Chris Murphy and Ron Johnson will visit Kosovo and Serbia this week to express, as they said, support for dialogue between the two countries.
Murphy, Democrat senator, and Johnson, Republican, will travel along with a delegation of Congress to visit Russia, but those two Moscow has banned their entry.
“Russia does not allow us inside, but Ron Johnson and I will visit Ukraine, Serbia and Kosovo this week to prove the two-party support for Ukraine's new government and for the ongoing dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina”, Senator Chris Murphy said in a post in Titter.
Murphy and Johnson are loud critics of the Kremlin.
Their visit to the Balkans comes at the time when they speak of greater US involvement in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia about normalising relations.
