Rita urges women to perform tests for possible diagnosis of cancer regularly

Rita Ora's mother had beaten cancer years earlier, writes news.

Having been tested in the family with this disease, the singer has urged women to perform tests regularly so as to diagnose the disease in time before it is too late.

I've never really talked about how important it is for us girls to have a regular test -- ever to prevent cervical cancer. It is so important to protect ourselves and to promote the future against one of the most common and preventable causes of cancer in women. I'm blessed to have such a large platform to talk about important issues and I want to help make girls safe and conscious around the world” wrote Rita.
