A two - gender baby was born at the Obstetric Clinic in QKUK.
In this case, Neonatology Director Xhevdet Goynovci, in whose department the baby is being kept in intensive care, said that although a rare case, it is the second that occurs within this year in Kosovo.
Dr. Goynovci at a media conference said the baby was born prematurely and weighs 995 grams. He said the baby is being treated and are becoming necessary consultations.
Goynovci also said that the child can be healed.
This is the second case only in this year with this syndrome. If proven by therapy it is curable”, Gojnovci said.
According to him, these kinds of cases have occurred in countries in the region.
