The yellow is coming, the air is getting fresh, and soon our clean wine skin will give way to dry skin. Fortunately, this side effect of the season is completely avoidable according to American dermatologist Whitney Bowe, which suggests some simple precautionary measures that will make many changes in the way we look or feel from the moment the leaves begin to fall, to the bloom of the first flower in the spring.
Before the first disturbing signs begin to emerge, one of the simplest ways to be prepared is to invest in a moisture machine in your room, says Bowe. “Rating moisture into the air will help prevent skin drying”. It suggests using it every night for the best results, to rehydrate the skin for the days to come.
Then review your skin - care routine. Dedicatement to layering in a few minutes will help if moisture falls below your level. When the skin dries, dead skin cells accumulate, making it impossible to penetrate hydrate”, says Bowe.
A serum of hyaluronic acid or a formula filled with antioxidants, followed by a hydrant or oil, will help you make your face shine for a long time. To make hydration more effective, Bowe recommends treatment of mycelar water before sleep. And when the morning comes, don't forget the sunscreen.
And finally, for an unmatched glow, fill your diet with things like sardine, olive oil, linen seeds and avocados, which contain omega-3 and fatty acids that help replace natural fats that have been lost during the cold weather.
Avoid carbohydrates, such as white bread, pasta, dried fruit, and milk to remove inflammation and drying skin. Winter is coming, but if you follow this advice your skin doesn't need to know.
