PZAP Secretariat Chief Mul Descu has indicated what subjects are that have not paid the fines.
“The alternative political subject has been fined 15,450.00 euros and has so far paid 11,750.00 euros, while the rest of the debt in many of the 3,700.00 euros will be paid in installments under a deal/undies reached between PZAP and the Political Alternative Subject. Political Subject KTAP was fined 2,200.00 euros, did not pay fines”, Descu said.
He has added that the PZAP in line with the Law for General Elections and other applicable laws of the Republic that Kosovo will take all procedural actions for the execution of this debt from the political subject in question.
“Political subjects who have been fined by PZAP and do not pay the fines will not be able to be certified to participate in the election”, he told Telegrafi.
Descu said political subjects were largely fined because of violation of the code of courtesy of political subjects, supporters and their supporters of the General Election Law.
“The LZP has been sanctioned by the banned actions of Political Subjects, where it is clearly said that during the campaign period meaning the official campaign of elections, political subjects, supporters or their candidates are banned from campaigning. Not included in the LZP is the sanction of the campaign prior to the launch of the official election campaign, which means that PZAP cannot set penalties regarding these activities that political subjects are doing at this time. PZAP, I can impose penalties for prohibited actions under Article 33. The LZP's only during the period that the official election campaign”, he has said.
Parliamentary elections will be held on 6 October. The Central Election Commission has certified political subjects and candidates who compete for deputies.
