During the day, a photo has circulated through social networks that has become viral where several Kosovo children are seen playing soccer with members of English KFOR after the war in Kosovo.
Portal.info has contacted one of the children seen in the photo, who has shown his emotions today about the match between England and Kosovo.
Shaban Morina, who descended from the village of Glareva in Kline, now 32-year-old who lives and acts in Pristina along with his family, has said the photo was taken after the war ended, when Morina has been 14-year-old playing with his society.
This photo was taken in 2000 when I was 14. The picture has been shot up in Dardania district, where the school is now Xhemajl Mustafaʹ and the library Heivzi Sylejmani. That's where we've been playing as a society, where even the famous football player Mentor Jedella was, then Artan Sylay and some other friends. British KFOR has been placed in green shelters and occasionally have gone there for security reasons, where they have even stopped to play with us or to teach us a word of English, while we taught them the English words”, Morina emotionally explains.

As a matter of fact, Morina said she didn't know who took this picture and she felt surprised to see it circulated through social networks, because she wasn't aware that such a picture exists.
When I've seen this picture today, the emotions of 2000 are repeated, even though we've seen KFOR members armed, we've felt good and safe with them. I didn't know there was this picture, and I was surprised to see it”, Morina said.
He has explained that at that time all society had a dream of becoming football players, where some of them have even been made, while he has said that it has been a special feeling to play with British KFOR at that time after they have imagined that Kosovo is playing with England, while now about 19 years later, this dream is becoming reality.
Some of the friends we've been there have continued their dream of becoming football players and having succeeded, I've stopped the cause of a injury, but I still have it as a hobby and I play it from time to time”, Morina said.
Kosovo Days, as Morina calls the Kosovo representative's players, according to him have continued their journey well, and that makes him proud.
He hopes that even today Kosovo will get a positive result in England.
Finally, Morina has said that today she's going to watch the match with a lot of excitement even because of the photograph that has been published, which she said made her feel even more proud of our players.
