Many analysts are interpreting Wessel's campaign against corruption and nepotism, which he had launched right after returning from an official visit to Washington, as encouraged by Americans who are at the top of their agenda priorities at a global level, where millions of euros are investing.
Today the media have reported that American President Donald Trump's close man will arrive in Kosovo these days to directly support PDK chairman Kadri Wessel in the campaign.
PDK election staff chief Memli Krasniqi has neither confirmed nor denied his arrival to Kosovo.
He has said briefly that Wessel's <x0-second fight against corruption is in line with President Trump<x1's global fight against corruption.
The last two days, many PDK billboards have taken to the streets of Kosovo, featuring a photo of Wessel with President Trump.
