MPJ has indicated that the Kosovo authorities have taken this decision following threats being made to the Serb community in Kosovo on the part of official Belgrade.
The 6 October elections are elections of the Republic of Kosovo and its citizens. Belgrade officials cannot and will not be allowed to campaign elections in Kosovo elections. Nor will threats against the Kosovo Serb community from Belgrade be tolerated, said the report.
Kosovo's entry has also been banned from Serbian government deputy director Damjan Jovic.
Jovic, whose chief has Marko Djuriqi, has in this case declared that <x0pression and political violence against the Serbian people and against the Serbian List continues” and they increase in intensity with the approach of elections in Kosovo.
In a statement to Serbian television in Kosovo, “Most”, Joviqi has said that today he has had to visit the villages of Baye and Soupla of the Sqaheraj municipality, as well as Prelluze in Vushtrri, in order to invite residents to vote for the Serbian List on 6 October.
“Pristina must understand that the Serbian people do not vote for the Serbian List because of our detainees, but the Serbian people back the Serbian List because they love Serbia and that nobody will ever change”, Jovi said, broadcast Koha.net.
Even the other deputy director of this office, Dusan Kozarev, according to Serbian media, yesterday police on the road from Ranillug to Novoberda have stopped and forced him to leave Kosovo.
