São Paulo's typhoos, Lago de Melo Rios, was fortunate to be saved alive after a fall from the upper part of the stadium “Estadio Cicero Pompeu de Toledo” in Brazil.

The 23-year-old took part in his club match against Gremios at the weekend, when he tried to get on the fences that store up the upper deck, Brazilian media wrote.

He fell off the barricades and fell for about 12m, falling over Giovanni Santos Arawio, a 13-year-old girl who prevented his fall.

Amazingly Rios survived the incident, as did the girl. They were immediately taken to the hospital, while the fan is believed to have broken a female until Giovanni experienced no serious injuries. /Periscope. com/
