Modern Mantor Shuki has pleaded guilty to unauthorized possession of narcotics at the initial session held at the Constitutional Court in Pristina on Monday.
Along with him for the criminal work “the purchase, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotropic and analogue” is being charged with Nebojsa Dinic, who had reached agreement with the prosecution for admitting guilt.
After reading the indictment on the part of prosecutor Armend Hamiti, the two indictees have pleaded guilty to the criminal acts they are charged with, reports “Justice Vow.
With the plea of the two indictees has also been hired by prosecutor Hamiti, who has asked the tribunal to approve the plea agreement between him and the accused Denic, while for the accused Shuki said he, from the phase of the investigation, had pleaded guilty and repented.
The defender of the accused Shuki, lawyer Asdren Bytyqi, has asked the tribunal to approve his client's plea, as he said, this admission was made according to legal provisions and that the accused had consulted him sufficiently.
Meanwhile, the defender of indictee Denic, lawyer Dejan Vasic, has demanded from the court approval of the plea agreement and has also called for the suspension of the detention measure, which prosecutor Hamiti has not rejected.
The chairman of the court, Judge Naser Foniqi, has approved the plea agreement to indict him, as well as the guilty plea from Shuki.
Also, Judge Foniqi announced that the defendant Denic will be detained, while the plea will take place on September 10, 2019, at 09:00.
According to the indictment compiled on August 27, 2019, police reportedly during the search of accused Mentor Shuki, on March 21, 2019, had found that without authorization they had owned a small bag filled with narcotic substance suspected of amphetamine, 4 grams weight, two glass cones filled with the suspicion of GHB narcotics, with one of them bearing 84 grams.
Meanwhile, accused Nebojsa Dinic is accused of selling narcotics, and during police control, 149 grams of narcotics, amphetamine, 204 grams of marijuana, 17 grams of cannabis seeds and a digital scale had been found and confiscated.
The prosecution, accused Shuki, charges the criminal act “with unauthorised possession of narcotics, psychotrope or analogo”, while accused Denic with criminal work “bribing, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotropic substances and analogue”. /Betimy for Justice
