The Norwegian midfielder was once considered one of the most talented young people in the world, what he was 15 years old and part of Stromsgods.
It was Real Madrid that won the race for his services, but progress was not expected, Periscop reports.
He debuted for the club at the age of 16, but did only a competitive presentation for the first team.
Odegaard has spent the last three seasons in borrowing and is currently engaged in La League with Real Socieddin.
And it's finally shining.
The 20-year-old has been one of the best players in La League so far.
It has so far scored two goals for the Spanish club and was declared “Month player” Sociedad for August.
As if that wasn't enough, he just donated the season assistance.
Odecaard launched an anti-Alaves on Thursday evening and played a big role in the first goal.
In the 19th minute he took the ball, put an opponent under his feet and then launched a visionary pass to find Michael Oyarzabal.
