The prominent Activist in the United States, Uk Lushi, has reacted to LDK candidate Vjosa Osmani, as she in a televised debate had warned the Diaspora Ministry merger under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Why do people around her allow her to make cardinal mistakes, which if she comes to life, they will harm Kosovo and Albanians at dangerous levels even for the very existence of Kosovo”, Lushi wrote.
According to him, one should show Vjosa Osmani that the diaspora has been and is one of the main pillars of the state of Kosovo.
Someone has to remind Vjosa Osman that he saw the Diaspora itself, the LDK would not have achieved many internal successes and in the world policy arena. Someone has to call Vjosa Osmani, who Diaspora sends to Kosovo nearly 50% of the state budget, or approximately 1 billion euros, he wrote.
According to Lushi, a candidate for top state manager, who says without eyeing the deep error that it will create “report with such an economic line of primary importance as the diaspora should not give the chance to endanger Kosovo and hundreds of thousands of Kosovo citizens who are abroad.
Uk Lushi, who was a soldier in the <x0-Atlantic battalion”, has further criticised Vjosa Osmani, saying that the state of Kosovo and any candidate for prime minister should expand the ministry and increase the budget of the Ministry of Diaspora, which is much smaller than taking money from the state, not eliminating the ministry of over 600,000 Kosovo citizens who are abroad.
Kosovo's “State and institutions should invest in Albanian schools, in strengthening ties and ranking commitments with Diaspora, not in our departure and reducing our co-operation and investment. Kosovo should not close the door to Diaspora, but should open it even more by reserve parliamentary seats in the Kosovo Assembly”, it has written.
Lushi has said that the diaspora cannot without Kosovo, nor can Kosovo without the diaspora. According to him, no one with such a wrong and scary plan as Vjosa Osman should sit in the chair of Kosovo's prime minister.
