Much was done for art, while it was the voice of many organizations and whole civil society, but made a very special contribution to the position of women in society and institutions.
This is the music professor, Besa Luzha, who has joined the AAK-PSD coalition list for the October 6th elections.
Besa Luzha, as a candidate for deputy from the AAK- The PSD promotes direct conversation with citizens to get the confidence to be their representative.
It has almost 20 years of work experience in the field of art and culture, where for years it was initiated by many cultural and artistic projects.
Luzha in an interview for Online Economics, says the Inquisition in the political sphere is closely related to experience in her past.
She says that as an MP, she will give many priorities to her wife, where she says even unemployed housewives will be compensated by the state for their work.
I've been an assistant for 20 years and I've been working very closely in the field of musical education and culture, since 98, and now I've been a professor of musical education at the arts faculty, I've graduated as a pianist, the situation that has been impossible for us to develop an independent artist like I was, and the circumstances I've been able to explore a whole new field such as musical professors”, she says.
Work for 20 years at the German foundation “Friedrich Ebert Stiftung”, with whom they have dealt with problems in all fields, have caused it to gain an experience and which it believes may already make a contribution to the Parliament seat.
“Problems that are in the field of university education, my foundation in many years and the German foundation, focusing on topics that are perhaps even more political than pre-university education, social policies, health, economic development and even major themes such as, dialogue, recognition, demarcation, the sovereignty of the army”.
These have shaped a very large luggage of various activities of knowing the working procedures in political life, combining all of this, experience and knowledge, I have been determined that my contribution from now on has been actively given to the political scene through political structures such as political parties, parliamentary group or even the commission. I thought that the time has come for a professional commitment, an experience and accruing of different skills to be present in the Kosovo Parliament, compared to the challenges”, she says.
However, Luz says that her focus will be on advancing women, especially those who do chores and caring for children.
She says they have concrete plans for this social category.
There are women who don't work either in the state or in the private sector, but work at home and somehow their contribution is unknown. There was movement in this direction with civil society engagement. This contribution should be known normally, by standards, by models, by states that have arranged this and that will be one of the issues that I've put to point in my engagement program. Another issue is because equality for me is 50/50, a part of the coalition, The PSD has only installed this in domestic representation, no quota, equality is 50/50, she says.
Luzha says that each future government, from the beginning of the mandate, should have a priority on reaching a consensus on the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
It says that future governments should see a solution that would cost our country less.
The involvement of all of us after the elections, especially for those who take over the government, but those who remain in opposition, will be reaching a consensus on how we will conclude the agreement with Serbia, which is bothering us for 20 years not to deal with the problems we have inside, we have many challenges in education, health”.
The wage law has stabilised positions and jobs, systematisation within public institutions, should the government pass, the topics for the large number of ministers and deputy ministers would be closed. We have to sit down and think what would be the solution that would cost Kosovo less in order to complete this chapter and open the chapter for Kosovo's integration into the European Union”, Luzja said.
She says that if she is an MP for the Kosovo Assembly, she will support organisations that are the voice of Kosovo citizens, pledging that the people will hold her responsible for every word spoken in public.
My “position in parliament remains my primary job, and if there is a request I continue to give my commitment to the university as allowed by law, with civil society I will have co-operation. I want to guarantee that for all that I propose and what I say in public presentation, you will hold me accountable and I promise that I will really be the voice of the citizens and will work only for the good of the citizens of Kosovo”, Luzha said.
