5G is the name of a mobile generation that promises great speed and opportunity to bring to reality new technologies like cars without drivers.
These networks have gradually begun to launch in South Korea, Britain, and China. Still, they are not available en masse.
However, Huawei Ren's founder has already begun talking about 6G. We've started work parallel to 5G and 6G, so with 6G it's going on for a while,” said Ren during an interview for CNBC.
But Ren said technology is still “10 years away.” Some things have to be done to make 6G come true. First, standards must be determined by industry. The same is true of 5G. Another problem is what 6G will serve and what needs it will meet.
However, Huawei is currently focusing efforts on 5G. The company says it has signed more than 50 5G commercial contracts, more than twice as many of the nearby Nokia and Ericsson competitors.
Chinese technology giant on the other hand faces increasing American pressure, while the United States considers it a threat to national security.
