The incumbent prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, participated in the “Talk the Talk” debate today, organised by the University of London's software department with academic direction from “London School of Economics” and Political Science, at Riinvest College. In his address to students present to this College, incumbent Haradinaj welcomed holding such a debate, as he called it, a youth programme in Kosovo, which is Economy and Policy Together, and a programme of a respected world educational institution “London School of Economics” and that it is a good feeling that even the young people of Kosovo have this opportunity to lock and walk on the trends of what is happening on our globe today.

“Kosovo currently is in a regular legal constitutional time zone that is envisioned when a Government resigns, so we are on the date of holding an election on 6 October, and that is preceded by the government's resignation, the dissolution of Parliament and the declaration of elections”, said the incumbent Prime Minister Haradinaj, also speaking of the challenges awaiting Kosovo, the issue of international subjectivity and the internal plan of Kosovo.

Responding to questions about the country's education and vision for the future in this direction, incumbent Haradinaj said that Kosovo should make a record of its situation overall and that in the economy, of our internal economic and social development dynamics, in order to calculate directly for the profiles and the framework, but also what Kosovo wants in the upcoming stages and that due to meet this aspect, during its governance, the budget has grown for education and has shown caution to this area.

Acting Prime Minister Haradinaj has also spoken of the law on Trepca, saying there has been a long process to finalise Trepca and that it is Kosovo's company. This process is complete now, and Trepca is a hundred percent Kosovo company, ready to engage in business relations.

What is of interest to us is also a business plan for Trepca, and possibly for other mines at the country level, for a new industry that has long paused. We need to co-operate with the international surveyal missions of this industry, to verify what a business plan is appropriate, so that we can take as a country, profits and expected achievements”, said incumbent Haradinaj, adding that with a not-so-great investment, an estimated 140m euros, according to international calculations, Trepca can not only activate in the time period around a year, but the profit after activism is up to 500 million per year.

In questions asked on the topic of dialogue, incumbent Prime Minister Haradinaj said they are interested in dialogue with Serbia, unconditionally, and in this process is only a topic, mutual recognition on existing borders.

“If there is readiness from Serbia to lock on the remaining topic, which is mutual recognition on the existing borders, we are interested, otherwise Kosovo is sovereign country, and the people of Kosovo decide whether it is interested in any compromise or sacrifice, but it is not Kosovo that someone is giving it duties for sacrifice or compromise”, the prime minister in office Haradinaj said, adding that Kosovo's leaders cannot give anything in the name of Kosovo.

Likewise, incumbent Prime Minister Haradinaj said we should be honest with our allies, with the US and the EU, and inform them that Kosovo as a sovereign country has a remaining open issue with Serbia, which is recognition, and if Serbia is ready for bilateral relations, then we return the market.

Until he spoke of the tax imposed on Serbia's goods, the incumbent prime minister, Haradinaj, said that Kosovo should keep the market in recognition, make calculations for its own people, and therefore the world is built in respect of the interests of the parties because even as he singled out, Kosovo has an interest in gaining recognition from Serbia but only more reopening of the Kosovo market and not changing borders, which would lead to tragedy for the Balkans and with great consequences.

“Market returns is okay, we are for this”, finished his word, incumbent Prime Minister Haradinaj.

In this new format of debates in the country, incumbent Prime Minister Haradinaj has also answered student questions.
